PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Executive Fellow Program offers development opportunities to become successful healthcare leaders. Each Fellow will spend approximately 12 - 18 months as an Executive Fellow with opportunities of advancement.
First Year to 18 Months
During the first 12-18 months of the Executive Fellow Program, Fellows will experience time rotating through all departments, working in a Kindred facility. During these rotations, Fellows have the opportunity to shadow patient care providers, observe clinical procedures, participate in leadership meetings, and gain hands on experience at your own pace. Some rotations include an assessment.
Next Steps
Based on business needs and as opportunities arise the Fellows move onto an operational role, becoming members of the management team, developing experience in all facets of healthcare administration, ranging from day-to-day operations to strategic planning.
Staying Connected
Our Organizational Effectiveness and People Development team stays connected with the Fellow and assists with their development throughout their tenure with Kindred. It is expected that Alumni Fellows participate as managers, mentors, and resources in future programs.
