About Our Hospital

Kindred Hospital Dallas Central and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is a 54-bed hospital offering 40 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds and 14 acute inpatient rehabilitation beds. The LTACH provides the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital but treats chronically, and critically ill patients with specialized care who require an extended stay in a hospital setting, including one negative pressure room. Our 14-bed ARU is designed for people who have experienced the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness.
