Visitor Information

Family and friends are welcome to most areas of the hospital during open visiting hours. For the safety of all parties, we request that visits by children under the age six and any suffer from an infection do not the hospital. Visitors of loved ones in isolation should use good hand washing technique, wear the proper attire and by supervised by the nursing staff. It is recommended that only two persons visit your loved one at one time and we may limit the number of visitors at any given time at the discretion of the charge nurse. Please follow all caution signs. Some of our units have special visiting hours because of the critical nature of the care being given; if you have any questions about these limitations, please don’t hesitate to ask any of our employees.

Visiting Hours

General Visiting Hours are unrestricted, except for medical necessity.

ICU/MOU

We recommend immediate family only; however, if you would like extended family to visit, please limit the number of people in the room. We provide waiting areas for family and friends.

Parking

Visitor parking at our hospital is free of charge. We have designated some locations for specific personnel, so please take note of those areas. Our security or other personnel are available to escort you and your loved ones to your vehicle at any time, just dial the operator and ask for an escort.

Restrooms

Public restrooms are located throughout the hospital. Because patient doors do not lock, while visiting, please use only public restrooms to ensure privacy.

Overnight Stays

If your loved one has a private room, one family member may stay overnight as limited sleep chairs are available. We feel that it is important that the family is well rested and ready for the return of their loved one to home. We recommend visiting your loved ones during the day and evening hours and resting overnight at home whenever possible. Please talk with the charge nurse if you would like a loved one to stay overnight.

Food and Nutrition Services

Patient Meals

Good nutrition plays an important role in the recovery process. The Food Services Department wants to ensure your loved one receives a balanced meal of their choice. Their menu is diet specific and prepared by our culinary staff and registered dietitians. Please inform a caregiver of food related allergies or other specific dietary preferences. If you have any questions about our menu, please let your caregiver know.

Guest Trays

Where available, guest trays can be requested with two hours advance notice. There may be a nominal charge for a guest tray and a limit of one per patient meal. Please ask your nurse if available and how to request.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are accessible 24 hours a day in our hospital or host facility.
