Equity Report

California law (Assembly Bill 1204) requires hospitals to share information about the quality of care across different patient populations, according to age, race/ethnicity, language, insurance type, etc. Hospitals must submit an annual report that identifies differences, or disparities, in care that may exist and outline plans to improve equity. These reports are available to the public online on the state’s website and each hospital’s website.
