“The people here at Kindred are so kind, they treated me like family.” Monica was diagnosed with septic shock, requiring surgical intervention, IV medication, oxygen therapy, and wound care. She was transferred to Kindred Hospital for continued acute care and, after making an incredible recovery, she was discharged home.

After experiencing a seizure, Jariah was diagnosed with blood clots and developed a severe infection. At Kindred Hospital, Jariah received IV antibiotics and respiratory therapy that helped her recover. After weaning from the ventilator, regaining her mobility, and eating by mouth again, Jariah was able to discharge to an acute rehabilitation facility.

Delores experienced serious shortness of breath and was admitted to the hospital where she required breathing assistance and developed an infection. After about a month, she was transferred to Kindred Hospital for IV medication and pulmonary rehabilitation. Delores' condition greatly improved and she was able to advance to an acute rehabilitation facility.

After falling at home, Ricky was admitted to the hospital where he required tracheostomy for breathing and a feeding tube. At Kindred Hospital, he was liberated from the ventilator and began participating in physical and occupational therapy.
